THE TOWN CRIER
 Summerland boasts having one of only a handful of Town Criers in Canada. At every event and just around the town you will bump into Don Bowen our Official Town Crier in his distinguished robes and tri-cornered hat. On a regular basis you will hear his bell and his loud delivery of messages and news around the town. Watch out for him and see if you can be the lucky recipient of one of his coveted lapel pins.
